Monica Vatteroni, PhD, CEO & Founder
Dr. Monica Vatteroni, PhD, is the CEO and co-founder of EYE2DRIVE. She has a Master’s in Electronic Engineering and a PhD in Physics. With a strong technical background in designing CMOS image sensors, she is the primary inventor of EYE2DRIVE’s proprietary and patented technology for adaptive HDR imaging.
Dr. Monica Vatteroni has worked in both academic and industrial environments. From 2015 to 2016, she was a PostDoc at the University Claude Bernard in Lion, working on a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Starting Grant Project. From 2008 to 2015, she worked with the Biorobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, where she researched and developed image sensors, vision systems, and sensorized platforms focused mainly on biomedical applications. During the same period, she also worked as a consultant for companies like Eurotech S.p.A. and STMicroelectronics in the field of CMOS image sensors. From 2002 to 2008, Dr. Vatteroni worked with NeuriCam, an SME in Trento, where she developed intelligent CMOS cameras. She was the designer of the analog part of CMOS image sensors and, after 2005, responsible for all CMOS sensor design.
Dr. Monica Vatteroni is the author and co-author of over 30 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications and holds 9 international patents.
